I had such an amazing weekend! I spent Saturday with a couple of friends up in Sonoma. One of my bffs Allison & wedding vendor friends Erin & Yasmin were putting on a wedding event/fair called the Lab Event at Cline Cellars Winery – which just so happened to be right across the street from where we got married! This event was unlike any wedding fair I’d ever been to. It was honestly more like a party than anything else. Great food. great wine. dancing. fashion show + all the pretty wedding details made by local wedding vendors. The girls did an incredible job! Honestly it kind of made me want to re-plan my wedding. Well……… not really. Ha!

If you are considering the Oscar Sofa for your home, I definitely recommend it. It’s timeless, chic and oh so glamorous! The soft cushy pillows make it ridiculously comfortable. This is the perfect couch if you are looking for pretty & practical (well besides the white fabric.)

I purchased this mirrored silver side table from TJ Maxx 4 years ago! It’s crazy how a gorgeous sofa can make everything in the living room suddenly look 100 times better.
I spray painted the vintage milk bottle my mom gave me (she was about to throw them out!) The wood flowers are from my wedding bouquet
So now I’m thinking about getting a mirrored chest of drawers for the corner by the gallery wall. It’s so bare over there.. plus it would be nice to have some extra storage (opps, sorry for the crooked pic!)

Thoughts? I could always go the less expensive route – Find something on Craigslist, paint & update the hardware. I just can’t stop thinking about the mirrored chest of drawers! So damn gorg. We’ll see.

Love it! Have you had any trouble with the rug shedding since it’s wool?
Thx! No problems with shedding. Our dog likes to dig at the rug a lot (weirdo) and that does create some shedding. I vacuum about every 2 weeks. Overall it’s a great rug & very soft! We love it. Thx for reading my post. Have a good weekend 🙂 xo, Melissa

I went into Z Gallerie to look at the Oscar Sofa, but it’s not in the Nashville store. It looks to have more depth than your traditional sofa – more similar to a daybed than a sofa. So, strange question: Could shorter folks sit comfortably on the sofa with their feet on the floor?

Allison, it’s pretty deep and comfy. The pillows are really soft so you sink back more than normal. I personally like the lounge feel though. Took my husband a while to get used to as there isn’t very much support from the pillows, like there would be from a normal couch with back cushions. No you wouldnt be able to sit down with your feet touching the ground if you are shorter 🙂 great sofa though, we love it. Hope this helps!

Hello, it is so crazy that you have the exact same tufted chairs I have, and the same couch I want! I was wondering how the linen fabric works with the fabric of the couch. They told me I can customize it, but it looks so pretty. So, in your opinion, is it a good match, or would you pick something closer to the linen look of the chairs? Thanks a million for your response. I’m still so shocked you paired the same furniture together!!
How funny! Yes I love having the “marshmallow” color with the tufted chairs. I get a lot of compliments on the two. The couch is not the easiest fabric to keep clean though, so if you’re looking for something more low maintenance, I would go with a microsuede of some sort. We keep a blanket down most of the time for our dog, cat & soon to be baby 🙂 hope that helps!
